Yuzu's message in Ice Jewels Photoboook 2019-2020

This message was written on April 21st, 2020.

"I'm honestly so grateful for the strong power sent along with your cheering in this 2019-2020 season as well.

Fortunately, there was no serious injury and I was being able to reach the end of the season.

What is "figure skating" to "Hanyu Yuzuru"? There are days when I ask myself that question.

However, as I reflected on various competitive programs, on the moments when those programs came alive, once again, I found the answer.

For now, I cannot yet know how 2020-2021 season will turn out.

In any situation, bringing expression and emotions unique to that very moment, I will skate through with all my strength."
